I’m Michela D’Onofrio, an emerging photographer living in Switzerland and originally from Rome, whose vibrant artistic history has shaped my deep connection to the fine arts. For over a decade, I’ve pursued photography with passion and curiosity, learning through hands-on experience and formal courses that have fueled my creativity and vision. What began as a hobby has evolved into a lifelong dedication and a true calling. 

As both a theoretical physicist and an artist, I see the world through a unique lens, where light interacts with matter to create patterns, shadows, and moments that speak beyond words. My photography aims to transform everyday scenes into magical visual stories, revealing hidden beauty in the ordinary.

Having lived in Italy, Switzerland, Canada, the Netherlands, and Finland, my love for travel and learning about new cultures continuously enriches my creative process. My experiences in different countries and countless places have shaped my worldview and inspire my work. Being fluent in four languages has also allowed me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, adding depth to the stories I aim to tell through my images.  

Driven by a deep love for life, I infuse my joie de vivre into every photograph.
